Intermediate Architecture
Nov. 2 – Nov. 30


Learn to paint architectural details, weathered walls, and buildings drenched with light and character. Build up textures through layers, glazes, and spontaneous wet-in-wet effects. Achieve rich, intense colours, and learn to create depth and prospective with angled buildings and arches. Jennifer will guide students through various aspects of architecture and surface textures in this 5-week completed project. Reference photos provided.
Note: paintings shown are from previous sessions. The photo titled Intermediate Architecture Reference Photo is the one we will be using for the class.

This 5 session in-person class takes place at Goward House: 2495 Arbutus Rd. Victoria, BC
1-4pm, Tuesday Nov. 2 – Nov. 30, 2021
8 students maximum

COVID-19 POLICY: All in-person classes must adhere to the public health orders in place at the time of the class. Currently, this includes proof of vaccination, wearing a mask, and social distancing when possible. Surfaces and touch points will be sanitized, and doors and windows will be left open for airflow. Any person with Covid-19 symptoms, or a close contact of a person with Covid-19, will not be able to attend class. Classes are subject to cancellation on short notice due to the ever-changing nature of public health guidelines.
