Skies Workshop

Learn a variety of techniques for painting clouds, sunsets, and misty sky effects. Explore wet-in-wet techniques with both spontaneity and control. Learn to work with textural effects, pulled edges, and colour mixing for dramatic skies. Students will explore a variety of sky effects through several exploratory studies. The samples created in this workshop will be an invaluable reference for future landscape paintings.

This 2-day in-person class takes place at Goward House: 2495 Arbutus Rd. Victoria, BC
10am-3pm, Friday March 4 & 11
8 students maximum

COVID-19 POLICY:  All in-person classes must adhere to the public health orders in place at the time of the class.  Currently, this includes proof of double vaccination, wearing a mask, and social distancing when possible.  Surfaces and touch points will be sanitized and doors and windows will be left open for airflow.  Any person with Covid-19 symptoms, or a close contact of a person with Covid-19, will not be able to attend class.  Classes are subject to cancellation on short notice due to the ever changing nature of public health guidelines.
