Arbutus Cove

This original watercolour painting is mounted on a 1 1/2″ wood panel with the surface varnished for a contemporary finish.

The title Arbutus Cove refers to a favourite beach in Victoria.  This is the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon.  It feels far from the city because it is so peaceful and natural.  As the tide was skimming in, I caught this tranquil moment with a heron fishing in the tide pool.
