Online European Doorway & Architectural Surface Textures

Learn to paint architectural details, weathered walls, and antique doors with character and detail. Build up surface textures through layers, glazes, and specialized textural effects. Achieve rich, intense colours, and learn to create realistic cracked stucco, wrought iron, brick, stone, and weather wood. Jennifer will guide students through various aspects of architecture and surface textures in this 3-day completed project. Reference photos are provided. The image titled “European Doorway & Architectural Surface Textures Reference Photo” will be used as inspiration for this workshop. Watercolour students of all levels are welcome to register.

Jennifer demonstrates all the steps and techniques for a completed architectural painting. The high definition recordings show a clear bird’s-eye view of the demonstrations recorded in a live class setting. Participants can watch the steps over as many times as they like and pause the recording while they paint. The wealth of information presented is sure to improve your future architectural watercolours!
The online European Doorways & Architectural Surface Textures workshop includes a digital reference photo, supply list, detailed notes package with images of all the steps, colour mixing chart, colour mixing video, and 3 x 2 hour (approx.) high definition demonstration recordings with all the steps for the projects. Students can rewatch the whole process and pause the recordings as they paint. Lessons will be released on July 12, 2022. Students will have access to the online course content for 3 years from the date of purchase.
