Online Rural Italian Alley
Learn to paint architectural details, weathered walls, and buildings drenched with light and character. Build up textures through layers, glazes, and spontaneous wet-in-wet effects. Achieve rich, intense colours, and learn to create depth and prospective with angled buildings and arches. Jennifer will guide students through various aspects of architecture and surface textures in this 4-week project. Reference photos provided.
Note: paintings shown are from previous sessions. The photo titled Intermediate Architecture Reference Photo is the one we will be using for the class.
Jennifer demonstrates all the steps and techniques for a single architectural project. The high definition recordings show a clear bird’s-eye view of the demonstrations recorded in a live class setting. Participants can watch the steps over as many times as they like and pause the recording while they paint.
