Arbutus trees are a favourite west coast painting subject, loved for their stunning colour and amazing bark. Let Jennifer guide you through the process of creating this more complex watercolour landscape, simplifying the process with textural effects and lots of tips and tricks. Learn how to capture the light and achieve better depth and contrast in your landscapes. Lots of colour mixing will be incorporated into the technical demonstrations as we work with a limited palette for rich, natural colours. Jennifer will guide students through various aspects of a completed landscape project in this 4-part immersive workshop.

The online Arbutus Shoreline Workshop includes a digital reference photo, supply list, detailed notes package, colour mixing chart, colour mixing video, masking video and 4 x 1.5 hour (approx.) high definition demonstration recordings with all the steps for a single project. Students can rewatch the whole process and pause the recordings as they paint. Students will have access to the online course content for 1 year from date of purchase.
